A couple of weeks ago I was sent some products from Oxygen Skincare to try, test and review. If you haven’t heard of them before, let me quickly get you up to speed. Oxygen is a family-run New Zealand skincare brand made from 100% natural ingredients found in plants and essential oils.

Their key ingredient, Organic Hop extract is grown on their family farm, and infused in all of their products to fight inflammation, even skin tone, increase collagen and improve elastin production.

Oxygen was NZs first skincare company to create a teen specific range along with a problem skin and womens range.

As an avid user of natural skincare, I had high hopes for these products, and they didn’t let me down. I found these products to be extremely gentle, but effective.

Read on below for a run down of each product I tried.

Oxygen Skincare – CrΓ¨me Cleanser

I’ve always been a big fan of creamy cleansers, they are a lot more forgiving on my skin type. This cleanser has a light, milky consistency and a lovely, fresh scent.

Key ingredients are jojoba and apricot. I rub a dime-sized amount directly onto the face and neck, do a mini facial massage and then rinse off.

It cleanses effectively without leaving the skin feeling dry, tight or stripped of moisture. No matter what your skin type β€” dry, sensitive, oily, or normal β€” this should work for you.

Oxygen Skincare – Skin Toner

Toners are one of the most crucial steps in your skincare routine. I personally never go without one. This toner has a gentle, non-drying formula that removes dirt and oil while toning and tightening pores.

Key ingredients are kiwifruit and mandarin, offering a final round of cleansing and a little bit of moisture.

After just a single spritz with a cotton pad, your skin looks grease-free, feels clean and matte for longer. It smells divine too.

Oxygen Skincare – Intensive Moisturiser

This cream can be used as a daily moisturizer or night cream for the driest skins. It goes on incredibly light but still manages to leave my skin looking and feeling smooth, hydrated, comfortable, and not greasy.

If you’re not the biggest fan of heavy moisturizers, you may want to pass on this.

There is no SPF included. So you’re going to have to apply one post-application. Makeup goes on beautifully over it. Last but not least, I love the glass jar β€” which is more eco-conscious than plastic.

My final thoughts?

All in all, I’m extremely impressed with these products, and what the brand stands for. I’m glad I gave them a solid few weeks of testing and trialling to get an accurate and honest idea of how they perform.

I’d urge you to go and check out their website to see what Oxygen Skincare can do for you.
